DESCRIPTION:Join us for Museum Ships On The Air Weekend hosted on the USS Orleck June 7-8\, 2025\nWe are honored to join other museum ships located around the world and amateur radio operators participating in the 2024 Museum Ships on the Air Weekend. This is our second year participating in this event with other amateur (HAM) operators in the United States and countries around the world. HAM operators from North Florida Amateur Radio Society (NOFARS) along with guest operators from other organizations will participate. We will be operating with our new Orleck Amateur Radio Society Club (OARS) call sign WJ4DD. \n \nBroadcast hours of operation will be from 8:00am Saturday June 7th through 3:00pm Sunday June 8th. The ship will be open normal hours on those days and your admission ticket will allow you to visit the broadcast locations including Radio Central which is part of the tour route. \nCome join us and see HAM radio operators in action and see how may ships we can connect with! \n  \nLearn more about the event!

All guests are encouraged to wear white attire for this fashion event. \nPurchase Tickets\nThis event is for 21 years of age and older. \nWhen you walk into the shipyard you’ll enter through our vendor village which will have local shops and snacks as well as a full bar. Access to the shipyard is 21+ at this event. When you board the ship there are 3 stages and multiple levels of the ship you can explore. The bow of the boat is where you will find the 360 boiler room style stage with 4 DJs playing intimate electronic sets. The middle stage is live karaoke where you can sing to your hearts desire and the stern is the main stage where headliner Vicky B will be playing with direct support from Disco Cowboy and Morganja. If you’re interested in the VIP lounge and All You Can Drink please see the appropriate tickets for more details however both of these include skip-the-line access. \nThe Event is from 8-12 on Saturday\, August 24th. This event will happen rain or shine unless there is a hurricane in that circumstance there will be a rescheduled date. No refunds or credits.
